Task:
1. Visit a variety of websites in the sampler that contain information
about your chosen
topics. You will need to select 4 topics to study.
2. Open PowerPoint.
Create 8 slides that will allow you to create 8 notecards to record your research
notes. You will need 2 notecards for each topic.

3. Each notecard/slide
will contain the following elements in separate text boxes:
* topic heading
* no more than 2 or 3 facts about the topic
* a citation for each website or reference
4. Save the PowerPoint
document with the filename: egyptclassyourname
5. Proofread and
reorder your notecards as needed.
6. Print out your
notecards and submit for teacher review before beginning
your brochure.
7. Use your gathered
research on your edited notecards to write your brochure.
8. Create a written
storyboard for the brochure.

9. Design and publish a
brochure to share what you have learned about Ancient Egypt.
The completed brochure must contain the following elements:
* a title column with the title, and an appropriate
graphic
* a back column with your name(s) and an appropriate graphic
* 3 columns with information about your chosen topics
* at least 3 facts should be included in each column
* all column headings and topic information should be in
separate text boxes
* at least 4 imported graphics that support the content
* 2-sided brochure with a total of 6 columns created in
the landscape orientation
* evidence of proofreading and editing
* overall theme carried out for the entire document for
pleasing appearance
10. Print the
completed brochure as a 2-sided document and submit for grade on or before
the project deadline.
